CyberStore 445S DAS – SAS/SATA Direct Attached Storage

The CyberStore DAS 445S is a direct attached storage system 45 drive bays. It connects to one or two servers via a SAS cable. Linux, UNIX, Windows and Apple servers are all supported. The CyberStore DAS 445S provides complete hardware based RAID storage. Included in the Package is a PCI-X (PCI 64bit) or PCI-Express (PCI-E 8x) SAS Controller and 2 Metre Cable (optional longer cables can be supplied).

With an integrated 500MHz PowerPC and industry leading 667MHz write cache, and x8 PCI express, the Cyberstore 445S DAS delivers impressive performance numbers – over 3GB/s throughput – allowing steaming video or data backup applications run faster than ever.
