Broadberry’s revolutionary range of CyberServe EPYC rackmount server solutions are based on AMD EPYC 7002 series processors and are configurable with up to 4 terabytes of DDR4 RAM and 64 high performance processing cores. This range of enterprise-class servers is ideal for handling demanding RAM intensive applications like database management and analytics, virtualised infrastructure and cloud environments.
Due to the impressive power they deliver, our CyberServe EPYC range of server solutions are perfect for super high-intensity applications, including:
The Broadberry CyberServe EPYC range features blistering levels of performance and efficiency. Maximising performance and minimising cost, these systems bring the perfect balance to your data centre. Based on arguably the best cost-effective processor available on the market, you will enjoy the best balance of resources drives with rightsized compute for all workloads.
If you're looking for a super powerful system that will greatly boost the overall performance of your data centre while also decreasing overall costs, this is the ideal server appliance for you.
As this range is based on the latest AMD EPYC processors, the solutions in this range provide all the advantages that come with that. AMD EPYC processors feature an embedded security processor, meaning full memory encryption without the need for any changes to your applications.
AMD EPYC support three main categories of security features.
With AMD Secure Root-of-Trust technology you can ensure protection from rootkits/bootkits that can insert malicious code prior to an OS loading. Through the creation of a hardware root of trust, only known and trusted software will be allowed to load and run. This protection extends from the initial boot load through the BIOS load.
AMD Secure Run Technology protects the system from being exposed to methods of attack like memory scraping and cold boot attack that can be implemented if data running in the main system memory is failed to be encrypted. With SME (Secure Memory Encryption) the system memory is encrypted and with SEV (Secure Encrypted Virtualisation) the hypervisor and guest virtual machines are isolated to prevent access to data in shared guest data areas.
Migrating VMs whether simply within the data centre, to off-premises private cloud or to the public cloud can be very insecure. With AMD Secure Move Technology servers will be able to establish a secure channel between them as well as send memory encryption keys to the remote platform.
This range of AMD EPYC based rackmount servers will allow your business to enjoy remarkably high levels of performance. The AMD EPYC processor family is an excellent option for HPC and has been built to promote balancing the ratio of cores, memory and I/O bandwidth. Featuring enhanced core density, these solutions are able to provide hugely parallel performance by utilising its supported up to 64 cores per socket.
Striking the ideal balance of cores/threads, security, I/O bandwidth and memory to provide the amazingly fast performance for many HPC workloads. Broadberry servers powered by EPYC processors deliver a superb solution for even the most demanding of HPC applications.
2nd Gen EPYC helps safeguard privacy and integrity by encrypting each virtual machine with one of up to 509 unique encryption keys known only to the processor. This aids in protecting confidentiality of your data even if a malicious virtual machine finds a way into your virtual machines memory, or a compromised hypervisor reaches into a guest virtual machine.
AMD is first to market an x86 processor based on 7nm technology. With double the core density and optimisations that improve instructions per cycle, the result is 4x the Floating-Point performance3 of 1st Gen AMD EPYC. 7nm process technology also brings energy efficiency. 2nd Gen AMD EPYC can provide the same performance at half the power consumption.
Virtually everything runs better on AMD EPYC 7002 Series powered servers. Whether you run enterprise applications, virtualised and cloud computing environments, software-defined infrastructure, high-performance computing, or data analytic applications. EPYC processor-based systems are #1 on industry benchmarks, including those measuring integer, floating-point, virtualisation, database, and HPC performance. AMD EPYC 7742 processor has set new world records that establish AMD as THE performance leader.
AMD Infinity Architecture is a hybrid multi-die architecture that is reaching new heights with AMD EPYC 7002 Series processors. AMD Infinity Architecture now decouples two streams: eight dies for the processor cores, and one I/O die that supports security and communication outside the processor. With the agility to deliver the leading-edge process technology for CPU cores while letting I/O circuitry develop at its own rate, new capabilities can be brought to market faster with EPYC because its die design is not monolithic. This has allowed EPYC to race to leadership in the market and continue to innovate in the future.
AMD EPYC is Hardened at the Core with advanced security features. It is the first server CPU with an integrated and dedicated security processor providing the foundation for Secure Boot, Secure Memory Encryption (SME) and Secure Encrypted Virtualisation (SEV). So you can worry less about data risk and focus more on running your business.
The AMD EPYC processor secure root of trust is designed to validate the initial BIOS software boot without corruption. In virtualised environments, you can cryptographically check that your entire software stack is booted without corruption on a cloud server or services you choose.
With encrypted memory, attacks on the integrity of main memory (such as cold-boot attacks) are inhibited because any data obtained is encrypted. High-performance encryption engines integrated into the memory controllers help speed performance. All of this is accomplished without modifications to your application software.
Our CyberServe solutions are very flexible and very scalable, adeptly adapting to the changing situations in your data centre as time goes on and maintaining high levels of efficiency and performance as your business demands continue to evolve.
